Talent acquisition is the process of identifying, shortlisting and acquiring skilled manpower to meet your organizational requirement. The talent acquisition team is responsible for identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring candidates to fill open vacancies within the organisation. 8       Team Player- Talent Acquisition person should be good team leader. He should have the ability to motivate his team. He should be able to build the trust among the team members. If team is motivated then it will be able to perform well and give 100% to the organiation.

9       Coping with pressure- Hiring is a lengthy process, and there’s quite a lot between posting a job ad and filling an open position. Talent Acquisition is very difficult task, he has to deal with many persons, listen to them, solve their queries. Make them satisfy. Recruiters need to put together job ads, screen applicants, run background checks, conduct interviews, consult with their employer, make job offers and much more. He should have the ability to cope with pressure.

10   . Time management skills.- Every company has their own policy in how much time to be taken to close the open position. Time limit is separate for each position. Talent Acquisition Team has to follow the company time lines strictly to avoid the production loss at the organisation.Time becomes even more relevant if the recruiter is working with companies that have flexible working hours and employees across different time zones.

11   . Patience. A successful recruiter needs to have a great amount of patience, as they deal with both candidates and companies.

12   Listening skills- Talent Acquisition team should good listen. He has to develop the quality of listening Besides listening to the companies they have to listen to applicants with great attention. Applicants, in particular, are very important because their feedback is crucial to placing them in a position that suits to candidates as well to the employer too.
13. Being target-driven. Company define the time limit to close each position. Companies depend on recruiters, who have to hire X amount of people by a certain date. Target-driven recruiters keep company performance in mind and hit their numbers in time.

Payment of wages during lockdown

Payment of wages during lockdown no more mandatory, govt withdraws order New Delhi: Companies which are closed, and where the workers are not working during the current lockdown are no more required mandatorily to pay wages to their employees. The home ministry guidelines for lockdown 4.0 have nullified a March 29 order that has asked employers to pay wages to employees irrespective of their presence in the workspace. The move will be a major relief for employers who have been demanding that either the government offer them a wage stimulus or not mandate payment of wages due to the lockdown as their businesses are hit.
